Willie Stevens was born on March 5th, 1930 in Ridgeland, South Carolina to Willie & Maggie Stevens. He worked for over 42 years and retired from Pechter’s Bakery in Harrison NJ. Willie was a beacon of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. His journey through life was marked by an extraordinary dedication to those he cherished most, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Willie was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Roeneia Stevens, with whom he shared 53 beautiful years of marriage. Their union was a testament to enduring love, mutual respect, and a partnership that weathered life's many seasons with grace and unshakable commitment. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and endless love, creating a legacy that will live on in the hearts of their family.
As a father, he was a pillar of strength and a source of boundless wisdom. His children knew him as a man of integrity, always ready with a guiding hand and a kind word. He nurtured their dreams, celebrated their successes, and provided comfort in times of need. His unwavering support and unconditional love were the foundation upon which they built their lives.
As a brother and grandfather, he was a source of joy and inspiration. His siblings cherished his companionship, and his grandchildren adored him for his gentle spirit and the endless stories he shared. Willie’s presence was a gift that enriched every family gathering, filling the room with laughter and warmth.

Willie Stevens leaves behind his beloved wife Roeneia, his cherished children, Willie Stevens ( Alexis), LaKrisha Stevens-Dickerson(Derek), Heath Stevens, Patricia Parson(Cookie), Patricia Stevens-Terry(Pat deceased) (Robert Deceased), Debra Granados(deceased)(Peter deceased)Bishop Jacquelyn Walton(Bishop George deceased)Reverend Dianna Stevens- Henderson (Bishop William Deceased), and Michelle Stevens-McPeek(deceased)(Steven). Siblings William Stevens(deceased), Joseph Stevens(deceased), Elouise Stevens-Ramirez, Gladys Stevens-Baugh(deceased)(Willy deceased)and Leroy Stevens(Dorothy), 4 brothers-in-law, 5 sisters-in-law, 27 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren-and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. His memory will live on in our hearts. A reminder of the profound impact of a life devoted to love and family.
