Donna Marie Norwood

Donna Marie Norwood was born May 31, 1966, in Roxboro, North Carolina to Charles Lee Jr.Norwood and Susie Mae Cabbagestalk-Norwood. She was the fifth of six children. Donna moved to New Jersey in the 1970’s finished her education graduating from Linden High School. She worked various jobs until she became disabled. Although she had health issues she helped out in her community in many ways. Donna was the kindest and most loving person you could ever meet. Although life wasn’t always easy, she would take everything in stride and keep on moving while trusting God. Donna loved going to church and put God first in her life. She loved being with her family and friends, she would do anything that she could to help anyone that needed help. Donna leaves to mourn four of her siblings, Ruth Cabbagestalk of Elizabeth, NJ, Willie Cabbagestalk of Atlanta, GA, Geraldine Norwood of Elizabeth, NJ, and Tamika Norwood of Glendora, NJ, and long-time companion Richard Rivers of Elizabeth, NJ. Six nieces; Shamirah Cabbagestalk-Mills, Sharmain Cabbagestalk, Shanese Cabbagestalk-Price, Virginia Bates, Lakeeta Thompson, and Jamaya Walker. Three nephews; Carl Norwood, Clarence Norwood, and Willie Bates. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Charles Lee Norwood Jr. and Susie Mae Cabbagestalk-Norwood, brother Charles Lee Norwood III, and nephew Quarice Cabbagestalk.
