Andrew Wyatt was born July 23, 1933 to Andrew Wyatt Sr. and Mary Jones Wyatt, in South Boston, Virginia.
As a young man, Andrew was always interested in cars and he found many opportunities to work on cars for many people in town.
His interest in working on a car or truck engine continue with him during the time that he served in the military, where he worked on Army trucks. He took great pride at working on cars in the garage at Scott's Towing in Woodbridge, N.J. His prize possession was his 1959 Ford, which he lovingly called it "Black Beauty".
Andrew met his wife, Margaret G. Wilson in 1952. He knew at first sight that Margaret was going to be his wife. They got married on Feb. 12, 1953. They have two children, Ronald and Angela.
Andrew completed his tour of duty with the United States Army. He also served and retired from the Army National Guard.
In 1956, Andrew moved his family to Newark, New Jersey. He began working for the United States Postal Service in Newark. He worked there for many years before leaving the Post Office to work for New Jersey Transit, a company of which he retired from. While working for New Jersey Transit, Andrew moved his family to their new home in Avenel, New Jersey in 1968.
Andrew passed away on the morning of December 3, 2023 at the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Elizabeth, N.J.
Andrew is predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Margaret G. Wyatt; his parents Andrew Wyatt Sr. and Mary Wyatt Smith; sisters-in-law, Edith A. Harper and Ruth Wilson; brother-in-law, Frank Harper; and nephews, Thomas and Larry Harper.
Left to celebrate his life are his children, Ronald Wyatt (Shari) and Angela Wyatt (Harry); son-in-law, John Haley (wife Rhonda); daughters-in-law, Lessa Morse and Pam Burns; brother-in-law, Edward Wilson; niece, Shelia A. Harper; grandchildren, Nicholas (Kleidy), Kendall (wife Crystal), Christian (wife Jessica), Christine, Jacqueline and Bradley; great-grandchildren, Ezra, Jayda, Jaisaan, Malik and Kaden; the Morse Family; the Flores Family and a host of other family members and friends.
